As I write this piece on Monday morning around 7:30AM, CST, I see gold trading over $1100 at $1109. Wow!

But why have our juniors for the most part not participated?

It is difficult to understand the apparent disconnect. Investor sentiment is still dismal at investment conferences. My view is that so many investors in this sector loss so much money last year that they are scared to dead and they have little new money to invest.

Sure we would all liked to have been rich yesterday but we have to exercise patience at this time with the confidence that the junior sector (and of course the warrants thereon) will have their day.

Patience is not easy for many investors. Is it that you do not really have the confidence

that the junior sector will one day soar?  Each of us must decide for ourselves. For me, I am totally convinced that with all of the issues in the world's economic system and the high probability of high inflation, if not hyper-inflation in the U.S. that gold will continue to perform very well and the junior's will at some point start to blast off.

The day will come when the junior's are leading the pack and we will all be ecstatic, not sure exactly when, but don't go away as it will be 'one hell of a party'.

Last week we said, "we think this is a good chance we will be seeing new highs in the price of gold within days". Actually the new highs came within hours not days, perhaps just a lucky guess? We see much more to come and if you are no yet invested our expression is  'Better Early-Than Never', so perhaps you should be getting involved.

We realize that some analysts are greatly hedging their position in the precious metals sector, fearful of another major collapse in the financial markets with the precious metals tanking also. Yes, this is a possibility but when and from what levels? Everyone seems to agree that eventually the precious metals will be 'the place to be'. Currently our view is to go with the up trend and continue adding to positions but keep some buying power in the event of substantially lower prices.
